Phillip Maloney

Phillip joined Jocassee Real Estate in August of 2012 after spending 20 wonderful years with Procter & Gamble. He decided to leave the corporate world and move his family to Clemson, SC, to assist interested buyers in the beautiful lakes and mountain communities that are hidden in the upstate of South Carolina.

Phillip was made aware of this area by his good friend and now business colleague, Bruce May, as they started investing in lakefront and upscale golf community properties (Cliffs Communities/Reserve at Lake Keowee/Reynolds Plantation) back in 1998. Bruce moved his family to the Lake Keowee area in 2002, and this is when Phillip and family knew they would not be too far behind.

While with P&G, Phillip worked in the areas of customer service and logistics and strategic sourcing (buying of materials and services). The last 10 years of his career, his focus was leading the Media Buying and Marketing related services for both North America and within Asia. In this capacity he was responsible for managing outside agencies and business partners to deliver on P&G’s marketing and media objectives. His last assignment moved him and his family to Kobe, Japan, to assist with the company’s development in Asia. He was a part of the executive leadership team that delivered consistent growth in very tough economic times. When the time came to move back to the US in June 2012, Phillip and his family decided this was the time to make the move to the upstate and start a whole new chapter in life.

Phillip enjoys working with people to help them fulfill their life’s dreams and pursuits. As with any major purchase, having a knowledgeable partner to help manage the entire process is very important. This is what he has done both personally and professionally. Phillip will spend the needed time and provide analytics to help you make a timely and well-informed buying and selling decision.

Phillip and his wife Tina have 3 children – Jacob, Matthew, and Jessica – who make life a lot of fun. They are all either playing or coaching sports at some point in the day, and they thoroughly enjoy the great weather, lakes, mountains, and, of course, college football that this area has to offer!
