Clemson

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains and along the shores of Lake Hartwell, the city of Clemson is an exciting college town with all the charm and quaintness of an old southern village. It is home to the state botanical garden, numerous historic sites, and, of course, Clemson University. The city's permanent population is just under 20,000, while Clemson University has an enrollment of almost 25,000.

Clemson University is ranked first in the state for value and return on investment. And Clemson consistently ranks among the top 25 of all public universities in U.S.News & World Report. University students can choose from approximately 80 undergraduate degree programs and 110 graduate degree programs, as well as research and study opportunities across the world. While Clemson University is a terrific academic school, it is also well known for its athletics and has Division 1 athletic events in 19 sports.  Clemson boasts six national championships: Football (1981, 2016, 2018), Men's Soccer (1984, 1987), and Men's Golf (2003).
