The Cliffs Communities
The Cliffs is a collection of seven gated communities. Three are on Lake Keowee, three are near Greenville, and one is near Asheville, NC. Purchase of a full club membership provides access to amenities at all seven communities with stunning clubhouses, outstanding restaurants, and golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Tom Jackson, Ben Wright, and Gary Player.
The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards
The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards is on the most northern end of Lake Keowee, just off Highway 11 and just below the Jocassee Dam. Named for its vineyards of native muscadine grapes, the community is home to an 18-hole Tom Fazio golf course that was nominated by Golf Digest for “Best New Private Course in the Nation.” Truly spectacular, the course has eight holes directly on Lake Keowee, including the famous 254-yard, par 3, 17th hole, ranked the most difficult hole of any played by the 2005 Nationwide PGA Tour. Amenities include a clubhouse, wellness center with pool, full-service marina with store, equestrian center, LakeHouse waterfront restaurant, tennis facilities, and a nature trail system.
The Cliffs at Keowee Falls
Just off Highway 11 along 20 miles of northern Lake Keowee shoreline, the Cliffs at Keowee Falls has an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course that was honored by Golf magazine as one of the "Top 10 New Private Courses." The Clubhouse is perched atop the most dramatic point in the community, with sweeping views of ten golf holes. Amenities also include a wellness campus with tennis facilities and pool, ten miles of trails, and parks.
The Cliffs at Keowee Springs
Located a bit farther south toward the middle section of Lake Keowee, the Cliffs at Keowee Springs offers family-friendly fun with its Beach Club pool complex. The community's Tom Fazio golf course was designed as three sixes, making for easy play without an 18-hole commitment. The Cliffs at Keowee Springs offers many other amenities, including its Bistro restaurant and miles of walking trails.
